Role Overview:

As the Data Analyst at Afros In Tech, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to inform decision-making, optimize user experience, and drive data-driven strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that contribute to the growth and success of our social network and community. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical proficiency, and a passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech sector. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Management– Gather data from internal databases, third-party sources, and APIs to build comprehensive data sets.- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through regular data quality checks.

1. Data Analysis and Interpretation– Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to user behavior, engagement, and platform performance.- Interpret data findings and present them to relevant stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. 
2. Performance Metrics and KPIs– Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure platform performance and user engagement.- Monitor metrics to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. 
3. User Experience Optimization– Collaborate with product development and user experience teams to identify areas for improving the user journey and platform usability based on data insights. 
4. A/B Testing and Experimentation– Conduct A/B tests and experimentation to assess the impact of different features and changes on user engagement and platform performance. 
5. Data Reporting and Visualization– Create and maintain data reports and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.- Utilize data visualization tools to present complex data in a visually appealing and understandable manner. 
6. Data Privacy and Compliance– Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices when handling user data. 
7. Diversity and Inclusion Analysis– Analyze data related to diversity and inclusion to assess the representation and engagement of underrepresented groups within our community.

Qualifications and Experience:
